Aligning with our customers’ business drivers for 20 years, Rolls Wood Group is firmly established as a market leading provider of gas turbine services, growing our business from £10 million sales in the first year of trading in 1990 to £150 million in 2009. Our continuing success over 20 years means that we have grown our Rolls Wood Group team from 90 people in 1990 to 500 people in 2009.People

- Investing in people
Over 20 years, Rolls Wood Group has trained 110 apprentices and now has a dedicated facility for training 10 apprentices each year with additional resources for providing in-house training for employees.

Of the original 90 employees who started with Rolls Wood Group in 1990, 30 continue to work in the company today.
- International employment opportunities
Worldwide, we now have 400 employees in the UK, 85 people in the US and a team of 15 people in Malaysia.
HSE
Keeping our people safe and minimising the impact of our business on the environment are top priorities.
- Between 1997-2008, Rolls Wood Group achieved nine RoSPA Gold Awards for Occupational Health & Safety.
- Since 2001, Rolls Wood Group has earned four Wood Group Chairman’s awards for HSE.
- In 1995, our Rolls Wood Group team in Aberdeen was one of the first to achieve compliance with the Environmental Management System - ISO 14001.
