Rolls Wood Group, Malaysia Facility

Rolls Wood Group has established a base in Kuala Lumpur to meet the needs of Malaysian Oil and Gas operators of Rolls-Royce aero-derived gas turbine equipment.

The facility in Malaysia operates as Rolls Wood OTEC Sendirian Berhad, (RWO), who's ownership lies with OTEC Kemajuan and Rolls Wood Group Ltd. RWG actively supports RWO activities through Technical Support and parts supply.

The facilities are based in newly constructed 19,000 square foot premises in Kota Kemuning, Shah Alam, which is situated about 30 miles south west of the capital city, Kuala Lumpur; the location of choice for the majority of its customer base.

The industrial fleet currently consists of forty nine RB211s, seven Avons and thirteen 501Ks. Additionally, future sales of new RB211 packages will see their number grow to over fifty units within the next few years.

RWO has an on-going development programme which focuses on QHSE procedures and processes. This is in addition to extensive staff training and continued investment  by both parent Companies.  This has ensured that the facility is fully capable of delivering repair, overhaul and support services to operators of Rolls Royce gas turbine equipment in Malaysia to further strengthen the Company's position as the market leader in the provision of gas turbine services across the globe.
