New RB211 Business Unit Manager Appointed

In a company renowned for investing in and nurturing its own home grown experienced personnel, any change in Staff is always big news especially when the position is that of the RB211 Business Unit Manager.

Following 19 Years of Service, David Montgomery has decided to leave the company in pursuit of a New challenge and the opportunity to move back home closer to his roots.

Prior to his departure, Dave recalled: "I remember leaving Rolls-Royce East Kilbride in July 1991 not quite sure I was making the right decision in joining this newly formed company called Rolls Wood Group in Aberdeen... how wrong could I have been!"

"The progress over the years has been made due to the quality of the people at Rolls Wood Group and none more so than the current team in the RB211 Division."

In filling this key role within the company, Mark Forsyth has joined the RB211 Project from his previous role of Business Unit Manager for the Olympus / 501 Project.

Well respected by Peers, Share Holders and the larger Gas Turbine Community alike, Mark brings a wealth of experience and a Proven Track Record in effective and efficient

Management of  a successful Gas Turbine Overhaul Business unit having also held key Roles within each of the individual Rolls Wood Group Business Units, including Overseas postings within the wider Wood Group organisation.
